22nd April 2012 - Virgin London Marathon

Although our guaranteed places for this year’s Virgin London Marathon have now been allocated, if you are one of the lucky people who gained a ticket in the ballot, we would be delighted for you to join the London’s Air Ambulance team.

13th May - Superhero Fun Run

This is the fun run of the year where everyone can become a superhero for the day whilst having fun and raising money for London’s Air Ambulance.

The Doitforcharity.com superhero run will be taking place in London on 13th May 2012. Over 2,000 people are expected to take part raising funds for hundreds of different charities and now this is your chance to join them!

27th May - Bupa London 10,000

The Bupa London 10,000 is presented by the London Marathon and is run on the course likely to be used for the 2012 Olympic Marathons. The 2012 race will be held on Sunday 27th May, starting at 11am.

16th June - St Peter's Church Car Show

St Peter's Church Car Show is organised by the 'petrol-heads' of St. Peter's Church, Harold Wood's local parish church. Their aims are simple, have fun, look at pretty cars, do something for the community, and raise money for London's Air Ambulance and they invite you to come and join them.

8th July - British 10K London Run

The British 10K London Run is the UK's leading mass participation 10km road race and is staged on the world's greatest route through the heart of central London. 25,000 runners take part on roads closed to traffic and get the unique chance to run past some the country's greatest landmarks including Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey.

11th - 15th July - Cycle from London to Paris

Cycle from London to Paris connecting two of the worlds most chic cities on one of the best cycling routes in Europe! Cycling through beautiful English villages and into stunning rural France you’ll pass historical landmarks and famous battlefields from World War I until you reach Paris, undoubtedly one of the most magical places on earth. The timing of this trip means that participants arrive in Paris on the 14th July which is actually Bastille day.

11th - 20th October 2012 - Trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro

We are looking for adventurous volunteers to trek to the summit of the World’s tallest free-standing mountain, and if you raise enough in sponsorship you will get to take part for free!

Experience the trip of a lifetime with this amazing trek up Kilimanjaro and through some of the world's most diverse landscape. Trek through dense forest over rocky terrain and up to ice glaciers as you discover the three volcanic centres of Kilimanjaro and the African culture surrounding them.

21st October - Run to the Beat 2012

Run to the Beat is a half-marathon (13.1 miles) with a difference. The race, which starts and finishes at the 02 Arena, is set to live music with an array of bands playing along the route around Greenwich. Run to the Beat is perfect for music-loving runners!
 
 

25th October - 3rd November - Trek in South Africa

We are looking for adventurous volunteers to trek in South Africa taking in some of the worlds most breathtaking landscapes and if you raise enough in sponsorship you will get to take part for free!

At the southern end of one of the world's most exciting continents lies South Africa! Alive with wildlife, traditions and jaw-dropping landscapes your journey will begin in the vibrant capital of Cape Town. From there you head off into the bush for an unforgettable journey over mountain passes and open woodland before we return to celebrate by trekking the iconic Table Mountain. This will undoubtedly be one of the most rewarding and unforgettable experiences of your life!
